Lord's Day 

     Today, I preached the first sermon of a mini-series (1-3 sermons) concerning the unity of the Church and the political issues of the world.  The question this series seeks to answer is "How should Christians respond to political issues?"  I hope to post this series on this website after I finish it.
     Next Lord's Day, May 23rd, we will host the Quarterly Gathering of the Southern California Reformed Baptist Association.  About nine or ten Churches will meet here at EMRBC for a special worship service at 5:00 p.m.  We look forward to welcoming all our reformed brothers and sisters and all others who might attend.  Please pray for the preparations for this event and that the Lord will bless us and strengthen us and make us mature in Christ and fill us with great evangelistic zeal for His glory.
     Also, please pray for my daughter, Hannah.  She is just finishing a Certified Nursing Assistant Course, and at the same time, beginning preparations for a Certified Phlebotomist Class.  It requires a tremendous amount of work in a short period of time; so, please ask the Lord to give her a lot of self-discipline in study and much ability to learn and retain what she must learn.  Most importantly, please pray for her salvation.
